Executive Team

Mike Abdella

Chief Executive Officer

Mike is a dynamic business leader and mechanical engineer with a distinguished 25 year career in manufacturing. Drawing from extensive experience in leadership, engineering, manufacturing and sales, Mike is at the cornerstone of Adaptive’s operational excellence. Focusing his efforts on market strategy, business growth, new client acquisition, client retention and operations management, Mike is involved in nearly all aspects of the business. Before joining Adaptive, Mike spent nearly 10 years working in the Automotive industry as a design & manufacturing engineer and international program manager.

Outside of work Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. Mike is an avid Mt. biker, snowboarder and ice hockey player and enjoys an active lifestyle.

Scott Robinson

Chief Operating Officer

Scott brings over 20 years of experience to his dual role as Chairman of the Board and Chief Operating Officer for Adaptive Innovations Corporation. Prior to founding Adaptive Innovations in 2002, Mr. Robinson was directly responsible for the creation and growth of the engineering services group for a reliability test equipment manufacturer. He started his career at Los Alamos National Laboratory and then moved to Mason and Hanger where he lead interagency design and process development teams for the manufacture of weapon systems.

Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a Master in Business Administration from Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver.

Andy Brayton

Director of Engineering

Andy started at Adaptive Innovations in 2005 and is now a partner and Director of Engineering. He graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Engineering. His love of tinkering with anything mechanical began at the age of 12 when he took his parents abandoned 1963 VW bug and got it running again.

Born and raised in Colorado, Andy’s interests include four-wheeling in the mountains in his vintage Ford Bronco with his 165 pound Newfoundland, Nova, at his side. He is also a gunsmith and excellent target and skeet shooter, as well as having a private pilot’s license.
